Banco do Brasil Cultural Center occupies the historic number 66 of Primeiro de Março street, in Downtown, a building of neoclassical lines that in the past was connected to finance and business.

Inaugurated on October 12, 1989, CCBB quickly became one of the most important cultural centers today, hosting the main contemporary art exhibitions in the country.

CCBB is one of the 100 most visited museums in the world according to the English publication, The Art Newspaper. It is an eight-minute walk from the Belga Hotel.
