The Belgian Brasserie, led by Belgian chef Alexandre Binard, offers a new gastronomic experience: happy hour with Belgian tapas, traditional crepes, a delicious chocolate, crispy french fries and the world-renowned beers, as well as other typical delicacies.

Breakfast is varied and tasty with many options, from the traditional Belgian chocolate to the very Brazilian tapioca.

At lunch, we created a menu that changes daily, with delicious starters and main dishes, featuring red or white meat, besides a vegetarian option.

During the day, you can enjoy the traditional Koffie Bar, where we serve delicious crepes, muffins and quiches, as well as a varied menu of sweets and desserts with lots of Belgian chocolate!

At night, we offer the Executive and the “Bapas” menus, which are appetizers that blend well with the famous Belgian beers.

Belga Brasserie has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for business lunches or happy hours.

The Brasserie hours are Monday thru Friday from 6:30am to 10pm.

Banco do Brasil Cultural Center occupies the historic number 66 of Primeiro de Março street, in Downtown, a building of neoclassical lines that in the past was connected to finance and business. Inaugurated on October 12, 1989, CCBB quickly became one of the most important cultural centers today, hosting the main contemporary art exhibitions in the country. CCBB is one of the 100 most visited museums in the world according to the English publication, The Art Newspaper. It is an eight-minute walk from the Belga Hotel.
Aquario
With an area of 26,000 m² and 4.5 million liters of water, AquaRio is the largest marine aquarium in South America and has about 8,000 animals from 350 different species on display. Lots of unprecedented attractions, impressive venues and tanks, and all the necessary infrastructure provide a pleasant and educational entertainment to the public. AquaRio also has a strong museological component: the Science Museum. Permanent and temporary exhibitions on the most varied topics related to the marine and aquatic environment will be available to add more knowledge to visitors and to ensure the preservation of archives and scientific collections. Founded in 1894, Confeitaria Colombo made history in Rio. For more than a century Colombo has been one of the most respected commercial houses in the country. Today it is part of the city’s cultural and artistic heritage. One can not tell the story of Confeitaria Colombo without associating it with Rio’s urban history. Rio’s Art Museum (MAR) was inaugurated in 2013. Located in downtown Rio, near the district’s main avenue, Rio Branco, the museum occupies two buildings in Praça Mauá, between the Center and Portuary area. São Bento Monastery
Rio’s Mosteiro de São Bento was founded in 1590 by two Portuguese monks who had arrived from Bahia twenty-four years after the city’s foundation. It was the second religious order to establish a home in Rio de Janeiro, with the Benedictines being preceded only by the Jesuits. In 1596 the Monastery was already consolidated, in an appropriate place, where it still stands. On Sundays, at 10:00 am, the famous mass with Gregorian chants is celebrated. As one of the anchors of the urban revitalization project called Porto Maravilha, the museum received in 2015, as a donation, the sculpture Puffed Star II, by the renowned American artist Frank Stella. Praça XV Fair
A Paradise of relics where you can find a little bit of everything when it comes to old and used objects, the traditional antiques fair takes place at ​​Praça XV since 1970. Initially, most of the merchants were under the extinct Perimetral viaduct. Since the demolition, all the 700 exhibitors have settled in the middle of the square, with their most varied and unusual pieces. Rio de Janeiro is one of the largest antique granaries in Brazil. The Portuguese Royal Family arrival in 1808 also brought the Court and all these families’ personal objects that have spread through the generations. Objects of affective value, such as a particular vinyl, a special edition of a comic book, a toy or an old photograph, among many other pieces so equally valuable to some, are easily found in this traditional fair, a great option for Saturdays. Following the European tradition, we created the Koffie Bar, which is that  mid-morning or afternoon break where the customer can have a small snack between meals. The Koffie Bar offers a variety of coffees and chocolate combined with muffins, quiches, crepes, among other delights.

The Belgian Brasserie brings to Rio the first Moules-Frites Festival, one of the greatest Belgian gastronomic tradition.
